| Child Care Resource & Referral (CCRR) |
Navy Region Northwest Child Care Resource & Referral (CCRR) is the point of entry for all eligible families seeking child care in Navy Child & Youth Programs.
The CCRR staff is here to assist you in placing your child in the location and facility that best meets you and your child's needs. Our office can provide you with information, resources and support to help you make a well-informed child care decision.
Note: CCRR handles SAC registration only when a SAC program is full.
|
| How do I get child care? |
To register your child for any of our child care options, you must complete and submit a registration packet.
Registration Packet - includes all of the following forms:
Submit your registration packet via e-mail to childcarerequest.cnrnw@navy.mil or fax it to (425) 304-3385.
Once you have submitted your packet, you may call the CCRR office to inquire on the availability of care. When space is available, CCRR will contact you to assist you with placement in a program. If space is not available, you will be placed on our Central Enrollment Wait List (CEWL).
When space becomes available for your child, you will be contacted by the CCRR office and offered the space.
Upon accepting a space, you will be required to enroll by submitting the following items directly to your child's care facility:
 |
Current LES and/or Pay Stub |
 |
Sponsor's Page 2 |
 |
Child's Immunization Record (CDC and CDH only) |
Note: If the military sponsor is deployed, the spouse will need a Power of Attorney to complete the paperwork required to enroll in the program.
|
| Waiting List |
If an immediate space is unavailable, you will be placed on our Central Enrollment Wait List (CEWL). The CEWL is maintained by the CCRR office and ensures that all CYP vacancies are tracked, monitored closely and filled quickly. The CEWL process is a three-tier, wait-list system for child care.
| Tier 1 |
Projected Demand Waiting List |
| |
Unborn children and children transferring to the area. Placement on this list is based on:
1) Sponsor's priority
2) Date of Request for Care
3) Age of Child |
| Tier 2 |
Excess Demand Waiting List |
| |
All children in need of immediate care and NOT currently enrolled in Navy CYP. Placement on this list is the same as Tier 1. You will be offered the first viable care space that becomes available. If the available space is not your preferred care option, you may take the space offered until the preferred option is available or decline the space offered until the preferred option is available. Either way, you will be removed from the Excess Demand List and placed on the Preferred Care Waiting List. |
| Tier 3 |
Preferred Care Waiting List |
| |
Children who have been offered a viable care space, but have requested a preferred space in another CYP. Priority on this list is by the date the Preferred Care is requested. There is no priority for families on Tier 3. |
The demand for child care is high. To ensure equity of those in need, Tier 1 and 2 customers are put in a priority placement program. Once you register your child for care, you will be placed in one of the following categories:
| Priority 1: |
Active duty single parent or dual active duty military parents |
| Priority 2: |
Active duty w/ full-time working or full-time student spouse |
| Priority 3: |
DoD civilian personnel |
| Priority 4: |
DoD contractors working full time |
Note: Retired military personnel are ineligible for these programs.
|
|
Attn: NBK DoD civilians |

You are eligible for special priority placement at the new NBK Bremerton Infant & Toddler Center until January 29, 2013.
