The Nor'Wester

The Nor'Wester's resource center has more than 1,400 books, several major daily newspapers, a variety popular periodicals, 225 channels of direct TV, free XBox and Playstation gaming, 800 big-screen movies, a copy machine, a fax machine, and 19 Internet-ready computers.

The Nor'Wester is also a great starting point to plan your next getaway. We offer an array of discounted tickets to local and California attractions, as well as maps, brochures and other information that will be helpful during your trip.

Services Provided

	Games Play for free on any one of our game systems. We have two X-Boxes and one Playstation.

	Movie Lounge Relax in front of the big screen TV with satellite and watch a movie, cheer on the game or surf the channels. We've got a large inventory of movies! Make a request, and as long as there's a screen available, we'll play the flick for you while you relax in our lounge chairs. We even provide free popcorn every Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

	Library Services Books We have fiction, nonfiction, research, hobbies, humor, military, vintage and much more. Periodicals Keep up-to-date with current events with 55 magazines, including The Wall Street Journal, Seattle Times, Whidbey-News Times, USA Today and the Navy Times. Come check us out! Paperback Trade Rack Drop off a book- pick up a book (paperback). It's easy and free!

	Reading Niches Reference, career, fiction and nonfiction titles are available for research projects or your enjoyment. Use the paperback exchange to rotate your collection and share good books with others. These are also great places to study, relax, or just enjoy the view of Puget Sound. Board games and puzzles are also available, so challenge a friend.

	Cyber Cafe We provide free computer use with 19 internet-ready computers. Surf the Internet, play games, chat online, e-mail friends, or complete homework. Print copies are $0.10 each for black and white or $0.50 each for color.

	Fax Service If you need to send or receive a fax you can do it here. No matter if it is going to a spouse in Spain or coming from your brother in Boston, we can do it. Nestled along the shoreline of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Cliffside offers 20 RV sites as well as several tent sites overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Vancouver Island, the San Juan Islands and the Olympic Peninsula.
