Navy Region Northwest Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) provides services and activities to enhance the Quality of Life for eligible patrons in the Puget Sound (Seattle) Washington area.

Eligible patrons and demographics * for each are:

MWR's activities include mission essential programs to support health and fitness requirements for active duty, as well as recreational programs such as adult and youth recreation centers, bowling centers, theaters, sports fields, gyms and fitness centers, night clubs, golf courses, resource centers/libraries with computers, food and beverage outlets and much more! Special seasonal festivals and events round out the recreational opportunities. After spending weeks and months at sea or otherwise deployed, these Sailors, Marines and their family members welcome entertainment options. Deployed military members can rest assured knowing their family members have wholesome, quality recreation, fitness and entertainment to enjoy at reasonable or no cost.

Sponsorship of MWR programs and events offers your business exposure to the military family and reinforces your advertising message and builds brand loyalty with our troops. Sponsor-partners are a valuable resource for MWR - we see it as building a long lasting relationship between your company, MWR and the military who proudly serve our country.

There are a wide variety of events from Fun Runs to summer festivals; children's events to Single Sailor only parties at each of the four bases: Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton, Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, Naval Station Everett or Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
