| » How do you get such good deals? |
By working closely with the venues and promoters we reserve seats months in advance which qualifies us for special, group rates and great seats. By avoiding the major ticket outlets we save you fees that would normally be charged if you were to purchase your tickets from them.
| » Why can’t I have my tickets when I pay? When will I get them? |
To maximize your opportunities to purchase, we use the latest possible ticket sales cutoff date - the date by which we must purchase them. Our order is processed, and the tickets are mailed to us. Once the tickets are received at your ITT ticket office, you will be promptly notified, approximately five days prior to the event.
| » If I get my order in early, can I get a seat in the front row? |
We try to get the best seats possible at a reasonable cost – those that offer the best value for your money. Sometimes they’re in the balcony or mezzanine, which can offer better views than those on the main floor, and sometimes they’re on the main floor, or in the orchestra section. We assign your seats from our blocks in the order in which we receive your order. In other words, if you order on the 1st, and your friend orders on the 15th, your seats will be toward the front of our block - further forward than your friend.
| » How do I make sure I get to sit with my friends/get an aisle seat/sit far forward/sit next to someone pretty/handsome/famous? |
We’ll do our best to honor any requests you make, but can’t guarantee we can fill your special orders (unless a physical handicap requires special accommodation). If you want to sit with a specific someone, it’s best to place your orders together and advise our ticket seller at that time.
| » What happens if I can’t go? |
Tickets are non-refundable, but please consider your options – do you know someone to whom you’d like to give your tickets? Do you know someone who might want to purchase them from you at either face value or at a discount? We’ll also do everything we can to help you find someone to purchase your ticket, and if we’re successful we will refund your money.
| » The price I paid for my ticket doesn’t match the price printed on it. What’s up with that? |
The price printed on your ticket is the group rate which does not include any facility or handling fees that ITT must pay and are imposed by the venue or promoter. ITT also adds a service or handling fee that helps offset some of the costs associated with offering special event tickets.
| » The “regular” rate listed on your flyers is higher than what I can find online. How come? |
We include service or handling fees in our “regular” rates, because that is how all of us would be purchasing special event tickets if we weren’t purchasing through ITT. Be sure to follow the online ticketing processes almost to the end to see the $8 - $10 per ticket handling and service fees plus mailing or printing fees that are charged to online sales in order to do an “apples to apples” comparison.
| » Why don’t you offer more concert/big name tickets? |
If the artists or shows are extremely popular, the venues or promoters don’t need to discount their tickets and won’t, no matter how hard we try. Or, they’ll require that we pre-purchase their tickets, which means we must gamble that you’ll want to buy them from us at the regular rate. And we’re pretty uncomfortable with that!
| » Sometimes your tickets don’t even save me money. Why should I buy them? |
| It doesn’t happen often, but if we’re unable to negotiate a discount, we will sometimes offer a very special show at the regular rate plus our service fee. Our reasoning is simple – if the event is not on sale to the general public we may still offer it because by the time it is offered through ticket outlets, the best seats will have already gone to groups such as ours. There would be no savings to you, but there would be good value - a great seat at a reasonable price. |
