Rocky Point Recreation Area, adjacent to Gallery Golf Course, is located just footsteps from the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Rocky Point beach.
Facilities available at Rocky Point Recreation Area include an indoor sheltered building (Can-Do-Inn) with picnic tables and restrooms. The facilities can accommodate events such as changes of command, family functions, weddings and other special events.

Reservations for the exclusive use of these facilities by a party/group for a function will be assessed the following daily fee:
- Command Function (request on command letterhead): Free*
- Personal Use/DoD Civilian Functions: $40*
- Outside Organizations (require CO approval): $100*
*$50 cleaning deposit required on all reservations.
Costen Turner Park is additionally available for functions at the same rate structure.

To Rocky Point:
From Hwy 20, north of Oak Harbor, turn onto Ault Field Rd. Continue through three stoplights. The road then curves to the left. To the left is Heller Rd. Straight ahead is Clover Valley Rd. Continue straight on Clover Valley Rd. The road curves to the left after approximately 0.5 mi., forming Golf Course Rd. At that curve, you'll see a sign for Rocky Point and a road. Veer off the curve onto this road, following it for approximately 0.5 mi., until you see a second sign for Rocky Point Picnic Area.
To the Convergence Zone:
From Highway 20, north of Oak Harbor, turn onto Ault Field Rd. Enter the air station at the Charles Porter gate (first stoplight). Charles Porter is the only gate accessible to RVs and is open limited hours. If you arrive and the gate is closed, please call (360) 257-3893 to have the gate opened for you. Travel along Charles Porter Ave until you reach Midway St, which is approximately 1 mile from the gate and just past the Skywarrior Theater. Turn left onto Midway. In approximately 1/4 mile, you'll make a four-way stop at Langley Blvd. In another 1/4 mile, the next intersection is Midway St. and Princeton St. Convergence Zone is located at this intersection, on your left. Make a left into the building's parking lot, just past the intersection.
