Jim Creek Recreation Area is located just outside of Arlington, WA about 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle. Nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades, Jim Creek serves as a Naval Radio Station and regional outdoor recreation facility for active duty, reservists, retired military, DoD civilians and sponsored guests.

Jim Creek offers a wide a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, including camping, fishing, boating, hiking, biking and team building programs. We also offer regular weekend programs from May - September, as well as seasonal events.
Jim Creek's Twin Lakes are known for great fishing, boating and wildlife viewing. The area flourishes with fish, wildlife and northwest flora.
Our group facilities are ideal for command functions, retreats, reunions and seminars. Jim Creek boasts two group campsites with picnic pavilions and a beautiful lodge.
Individual facilities include a wide variety of campsites, including remote hike-in sites, cabins and RV sites.

Jim Creek Seasonal Operations
Jim Creek Recreation Area has reduced operations to the lower valley campground for the fall and winter seasons.
Facilities open for use Friday through Sundays and Holidays are: All RV campsites, Grouse Camp cabins, Cougar Camp cabins, Doe Camp cabins, Bear and Bobcat Dens, and Jim Creek Lodge. Building 4 will open from 1 - 4 pm on Saturdays for Wii Fit games, pool, foosball and shuffleboard. The social center is available and can be reserved for groups through the Naval Station Everett's ITT office.
Facilities closed for the winter are: The Cub Camp Cabins, Coyote Camp cabins and tent sites, and Coho Camp cabin and tent sites. Jim Creek day use picnic areas, restrooms, and children play areas are open seven days a week.
