The Puget Sound area of Navy Region Northwest is home to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Naval Station Everett and Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), which encompasses NBK Bangor, NBK Bremerton, Naval Undersea Warfare Center - Keyport or Puget Sound Navy Shipyard.

Housing Waiting Periods
Visiting the Housing Staff at one of the Fleet & Family Information Centers (available at NAS Whidbey Island and Naval Base Kitsap) or the Navy Housing Office at Smokey Point (near Everett) is a priority when arriving at your new base.
The Navy Housing Office (NHO) Referral Services will provide you with all your housing options. The NHO maintains an extensive database of community rentals that can be personalized, accessing the information based on your requirements.
