What is American Forces Travel (AFT)

American Forces Travel is the first-ever leisure travel site operated by the Department of Defense (DoD) and supported by Priceline, a world leader in online travel deals. Who can use AFT?

Online reservations are available to current Active Duty military members (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary), members of the Reserve components and National Guard, Medal of Honor recipients, Veterans eligible for MWR services under the Purple Heart Expanded Access Act, Department of Defense civilians, retirees and certain American Red Cross and United Service Organizations (USO) employees serving overseas, as well as their qualifying family members.

Plans are also in the works to open online reservations to APF and NAF civilians employed by the Department of Defense, Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Until then, stateside DoD employees can access the same deals by visiting an MWR or Community Recreation Ticket office in person.

Seattle CityPass

What is CityPass?

The Seattle CityPASS provides the admission to five of Seattle’s best attractions. A travel staple for more than 20 years, CityPASS is valid for nine consecutive days, including the first day of use.

How to Redeem

If your ticket reveals "Grand Prize Drawing" you may drop it off up until the day before the drawing at the following locations: 

• NAS Whidbey Island  |  Convergence Zone and Whidbey Fitness Center
• Naval Station Everett  |  Community Recreation Center at The Commons 
• Naval Base Kitsap  |  Bremerton and Bangor Recreation Center

FFR staff will collect the entry tickets and place them into the hopper for the Grand Prize drawing, which will now be broadcast live on the respective FFR Facebook pages:

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible for this promotion?

Open to all FFR-eligible patrons 18+ (17+ if serving on Active Duty), including DoD civilians, retirees and their family members. FFR employees and their family members (unless they serve on Active Duty) are ineligible to participate, and cannot participate on behalf of a deployed Active Duty service member.

What do you have to do to win the grand prize?

Only tickets that reveal “GRAND PRIZE DRAWING ENTRY TICKET” can be used to enter the Grand Prize drawing. Patrons must meet the eligibility requirements and clearly write their names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers on the back of the qualifying ticket and return to their respective base community recreation center no later than 24 hours prior to the ticket drawing date/time.

What if my ticket is damaged?

Damaged tickets are void. You can return the next day or go to another facility to get a new ticket. We advise using a coin or plastic card instead of a sharp object to reveal your prize in order to prevent damage to the ticket.

Promotion is open to FFR-eligible patrons only. There is no purchase necessary to obtain a scratch-and-win ticket. Patrons are limited to one ticket per facility, per day while supplies last. FFR employees and any of their family members, with whom they share a household, may not participate in this promotion unless they serve on Active Duty.

REDEMPTION: No cash value and no change given. Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Present qualifying scratch ticket at a participating Navy Region Northwest (NRNW) MWR facility for redemption of instant prize(s).

Instant prize(s) must be redeemed by 30 September 2020 and may not be combined with other discounts. Void if altered, copied, transferred or sold. Offer valid on in-stock items only.

T-shirt tickets must be redeemed at the Everett Community Recreation Ticket office.

Free One-Night Stay does not include cottages and is subject to blackout dates. Contact a participating Navy Getaways facility directly to redeem.

GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: 

Patrons must be at least 18 years or older (or 17 if Active Duty) in order to participate in the Grand Prize Drawing. One Grand Prize per person. The winner of the 3rd-place grand prize drawing is not eligible for the 2nd- or 1st-place drawings. The winner of the 2nd-place drawing is not eligible for the 1st-place drawing.

AFT vouchers must be redeemed at a Navy Region Northwest Community Recreation Ticket office.
