NAS Whidbey Island will open its doors to the public with an Open House event on August 23, 2025, including a Flight Line 5K!
Flight Line Open House opens 9 a.m. - Growler, P-8, SAR, Fed Fire, EOD displays, Navy Band Performance, SAR and K9 demonstrations
Flight Line 5K - 8 a.m. (Gate opens 7 a.m. for same-day registration) Register here!
All guests should use Charles Porter Gate to enter the base; you'll be directed where to park.
Due to security measures, the following items are not allowed on the base: drugs or drug paraphernalia (including marijuana products), alcohol, bags larger than 12"x6"x12", backpacks, weapons (including pocket knives), coolers and pets.
Permitted Items: strollers, diaper bags, small women's purses, wheelchairs, bottled water, cameras and video recorders.
