FFSC Beginners Sign Language Bootcamp Webinars

Learn basic sign language vocabulary for individuals with minimal or zero sign language skills. Develop basic signing skills and knowledge of Deaf culture.

Early-Cognitive Development Sign Language Webinar:

This 90-Minute class provides parents, educators, and caregivers an overview of basic signs that are most helpful to know when working with non-verbal children or infants. It will specifically touch on the importance of signing during early childhood development stages, and the potential long-term benefits. The goal is that by the end of the workshop, the participant will have the tools to communicate using sign language long before a child is talking, along with reducing the frustration of both parent/caregiver and child/infant. The class will highlight basic "How-Tos" for teaching children to sign, accompanied by vocabulary focusing on themes like mealtime, animals, colors, family, bedtime, and more.
