Join us for a hike up to a peaceful, snowy alpine lake while learning essential winter hiking skills at Heather Lake in Granite Falls! Along the way, we will take breaks to discuss important winter hiking safety tips, research and resources to help plan your hiking objectives, the additional gear you should bring, how winter hiking differs from summer hiking, and how to prepare for hiking in any conditions.

This is a moderate trail, 4 miles round trip, with an elevation gain of 1,000 feet. The minimum age to participate is 13, and all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
