CYP & FFSC FUN | Summer Story Hour
The Admiral Boorda Teen Center has a great library! The Child & Youth (CYP) Education Services School Liaison is opening its doors every Friday of the summer at 10:00 a.m. for a story hour. Come hear a story, borrow a book, and meet some new friends! Check out the adjacent playground afterward and enjoy our beautiful Washington summer!
EVERY FRIDAY | JUNE 24-AUG 26 | 10 A.M. | ADMIRAL BOORDA TEEN CENTER
The New Parent Support Program (NPS) will lead fun and creative cognitive development activities through reading and movement for infants and preschoolers. Come out and meet the team and learn more about how we support families.
Each month a Naval Base Kitsap celebrity guest reader will help support the MWR Summer Reading Program by bringing a bit of extra fun to the story.
This team from MWR Community Recreation, NPS from the Fleet and Family Support Center and CYP programs are combining resources to promote reading literacy. Come enjoy the benefits of family bonding. This event is the perfect opportunity to achieve cognitive development through reading and movement.
An adult must be present with the child. Bring blankets or chairs to listen on the lawn when the weather is nice.
