Are you curious about mushrooms and want to know more about them? Learn from the Kitsap Mycological Society experts in partnership with MWR Community Recreation for a mushroom foray walk and talk in the woods of Trident Lakes Recreation Area.

On our hike, we will introduce you to the world of fungi and their role in our environment. We'll discuss some of the most common mushrooms in our area, like chanterelles, and teach you how to collect information to identify mushrooms you don't know. Learning this skill will save you money on purchasing mushrooms in the store.
