Summary of Duties: Provides administrative, accounting, procurement, payroll, and personnel support in the daily operations of Food Business Program including but not limited to All American Restaurant, Bangor Plaza, Olympic Lodge, Inside Café and Lounge, Khaki Club and Sam Adams Brewhouse and all Business Activities. Assists the facility managers in the preparation of financial and budgetary data to include monthly reports, vehicle and fixed asset inventories, key control and procurement oversight and employee training. Incumbent expedites paperwork from station level to Service Center Office, organizing paperwork by divisions. Maintains division’s calendar routing and special events. Provides direct support to the facility manager’s by collecting and analyzing future and historical data in the preparation of financial and budgetary issues using the SAP system. Assists managers regarding accounting discrepancies and difficulties; areas may include but are not limited to cash transactions, monthly inventory and payables. In charge of FBE supplies with usage of government credit card and knowledge of SAP system maintenance. Acts as point of contact between Food Business Program and FFRP Service Center in resolving payroll, HR, accounting issues. Inputs and prepares time and attendance date, timekeeping reports using Kronos system. Ensures employees in the FBE division are update on all strategic and other mandatory training. Provides assistance and back-up support to others in the department. Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the Navy’s Non Appropriated Fund programs general operations and financial process and procedure analysis. Must have strong typing skills and knowledge of computer applications and software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and database management is required. A strong customer service approach is essential. Position requires an understanding of basic components of the Fleet & Family Readiness Program. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare professional quality of documentation and presentations. Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Must complete a formal agency background check and maintain security eligibility for access to sensitive information.
