BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located at the Fleet & Family Readiness (FFR); Commander, Navy Region Northwest, Keyport, WA. The incumbent provides management with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of operations, policies and procedures for Navy FFR programs by accomplishing a wide variety of operations policies and procedures for Navy FFR programs concerned with effectiveness and efficiency of program services and operations. Coordinates, directs and supervises working groups in research, development and monitoring of programs and projects. The work supports accomplishment of the CNRNW MWR programs and mission. The work applies to all MWR Recreation, Fitness, Sports, Aquatics, Food and Beverage and Entertainment and Recreational Lodging operations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of N92/Fleet Readiness program operations and management to include fundamental and technical knowledge. Knowledge of the goals, principles and techniques in the administration, management and financial practices of N92/Fleet Readiness program operations in military and private sector settings. Knowledge of non-appropriated (NAF) and appropriated (APF) financial management to include budgeting, cost and profitability analysis, internal controls , inventory management, procurement, and facility management. Knowledge of CNIC’s organizational structure; functions and mission. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other operating systems used in the program area. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
